Terms of Service

Acceptance of Terms
By using Haiati, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
Our Services
Haiati provides a platform connecting Arabic-speaking diaspora communities with service providers across Europe. The platform is free for users; providers pay for listings.
User Obligations
You agree to provide accurate information, not post harmful or illegal content, and respect other users. Violations may result in account suspension.
Paid subscriptions (Growth plan)
The Growth plan is billed monthly via Stripe. Your subscription renews automatically until you cancel. You can cancel anytime from /dashboard/billing; the plan stays active until the end of the billing period already paid for. No partial refunds for unused time.
Right of withdrawal (Widerrufsrecht)
Per EU Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU and §4 FAGG (Austria), consumers have 14 days after placing a paid order to withdraw without giving any reason. Send your withdrawal to digital@bluebear.at with your account email; we'll refund within 14 days to the original payment method. Important: by starting to use a premium feature inside the 14 days, you agree that the service begins immediately and — once fully provided — the withdrawal right ends (per §18 FAGG). Business customers are excluded from this right per §1 FAGG.
Your content — license to us
You own everything you post (listings, profiles, reviews, Q&A answers, messages). By posting, you grant Haiati a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute that content within our service for as long as it's live on the platform. The license ends when you delete the content or your account, except where retention is required by law (e.g. audit logs per GDPR Art. 30).
Prohibited content
You may not post content that is illegal, infringes third-party rights, depicts minors in a sexualised way, is hateful toward protected groups, impersonates someone else, contains malware, or spams the community. We remove violations and may suspend accounts at our discretion. Repeat violations lead to permanent bans.
Account termination
You can delete your account at any time from /dashboard/user-profile. We may terminate or suspend accounts that violate these terms, with or without notice depending on severity. Your data-protection rights (GDPR erasure/export) remain in force regardless of termination reason.
Limitation of Liability
Haiati facilitates connections between users and providers. We are not responsible for the quality of services provided by listed professionals.
Governing law and venue
These terms are governed by Austrian law. For consumer disputes, you may choose the venue of your habitual residence under EU law. For business disputes, the exclusive jurisdiction is the competent court at the seat of BlueBear GmbH (Vienna).
Online dispute resolution (ODR)
The European Commission provides an online dispute resolution platform at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. Consumers may use this platform to resolve disputes out of court. BlueBear GmbH is not obliged to participate in alternative dispute resolution proceedings under the AStG (Alternative-Streitbeilegung-Gesetz) and is not currently enrolled with a dispute body, but may agree voluntarily on a case-by-case basis. You can always reach us first at digital@bluebear.at.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms when the service, the law, or our business practice materially changes. Non-material edits (typos, clarifications) take effect when published; material changes — new fees, reduced user rights, new data uses — require 30 days' prior notice by email and a banner in the dashboard. If you keep using Haiati after a material change takes effect, you accept the new version. If you don't agree, you can cancel your subscription and delete your account before the change activates, with no penalty.
